We are currently looking for a passionate and highly skilled Head Sommelier to lead our wine program and elevate the wine experience for our members and guests. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic hospitality group and play a key role in shaping the wine identity of one of Lisbon’s most distinctive luxury destinations.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the wine program for JNcQUOI Club, ensuring an exceptional and curated wine experience;

Develop and maintain a world-class wine list aligned with the club’s gastronomic concept;

Select, purchase, and manage wine inventory while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and producers;

Provide expert wine recommendations and pairings to members and guests;

Train and mentor the sommelier and service team, promoting a strong wine culture within the club;

Organize wine tastings, events, and exclusive experiences for members;

Ensure proper wine storage, cellar management, and cost control;

Collaborate closely with the culinary and management teams to continuously elevate the beverage offering.
Profile:

Proven experience as a Head Sommelier or Senior Sommelier in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or private clubs;

Strong knowledge of international wines and wine regions;

Professional sommelier certification (e.g., WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, or equivalent) is highly valued;

Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Strong leadership and team development abilities;

Fluency in English and Portuguese (additional languages are a plus);

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
